Villanova Center for Research and Fellowships’ Kelsey Fenner Named a Fulbright Scholar
Kelsey Fenner, an assistant director in Villanova University’s Center for Research and Fellowships, has been granted a Fulbright International Education Administrators (IEA) Award by the U.S. Department of State and the J. William Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board.
Villanova University Awarded It’s On Us PA Grant by the Pennsylvania Department of Education
The Pennsylvania Department of Education announced that Villanova University has been awarded an It’s On Us PA grant to enhance sexual violence prevention, awareness and response efforts at colleges and universities across the state. Villanova was one of 37 institutions in the Commonwealth awarded grant support, which funding will run through May 2025.
Villanova University Sophomore Selected for The Washington Program by The Institute of Responsible Citizenship
Villanova University sophomore Jene Baquet ’26 VSB has been selected by The Institute of Responsible Citizenship to participate in its highly selective Washington Program, a two-summer opportunity that supports some of the best and brightest African American male college students in the country. Baquet will be one of twelve students as part of the cohort for the Class of 2025 and is the third Villanovan to be selected to participate in this competitive program.
Agnes Hwang ’20 CLAS Selected for 2024 Payne Graduate Fellowship
Agnes Hwang ’20 CLAS has been named a 2024 recipient of the USAID Donald M. Payne International Development Graduate Fellowship. Hwang is the first Villanovan to receive this prestigious fellowship, which attracts exceptional candidates interested in pursuing careers in the Foreign Service of the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID).
Villanova University Recognizes John G. Drosdick’s Ongoing Commitment to the College of Engineering’s Building Expansion Project by Naming the Building in his Honor
Villanova University President, the Rev. Peter M. Donohue, OSA, PhD, today announced that in recognition of $20 million in support of the College of Engineering building expansion project by John G. Drosdick ’65, retired chief executive officer and president of Sunoco, Inc., the College’s soon-to-be-completed new building will be named Drosdick Hall.
